The Zero Emissions Fuel Efficiency
and Emissions Test
It is easy, quick and inexpensive to find out how well your engine is running.

Zero Emissions Limited does tailpipe testing using sophisticated equipment operated by skilled technicians. This approach to analysing exhaust missions testing is widely used overseas. It takes less than 12 minutes to do a test and usually costs less than a warrant of fitness.

Tailpipe testing is for petrol or diesel vehicles of all ages, not just old ones. Mechanical equipment can fail at anytime. You cannot assume an engine is working efficiently just because the vehicle is new.

Vehicles passing the Zero Emissions test will be issued with a certificate of compliance that lasts for one year, and a “Badge of Honour” which can be displayed on the rear window.

If a vehicle fails the test, our Licensed Emission Tester will either make the necessary repairs or recommend you to one of our licensed repairers.

Even with vehicles that pass, we are often able to suggest improvements to your vehicle’s efficiency, saving you money.
